Pothos, Aureum, and Brasil. It is, to say the least, a striking combination, which looks especially cheerful due to the green and yellow colors. Officially, it’s a triptych of two different plant species: the Golden Pothos and the Aureum belong to the Epipremnum family, while the Brasil is a Philodendron. The choice of these three was not made by chance. To start with, the three varieties must complement each other well in color and appearance. And they do. Their growth rates also need to align. With Tricolore, we have a unique product in our assortment, available in 12 and 15 cm pots.
Hydroculture plants are a dream for plant lovers with less green thumbs! This is a special cultivation method that promotes easy care. And it’s true for the Trebie: definitely not a difficult plant to maintain. This plant requires less water than most other houseplants bought for the office or home, making it ideal if you want a low-maintenance yet beautiful plant in your space! Since the roots are constantly in water, the Trebie can accurately absorb essential nutrients from the soil. The substrate that can be used for the Trebie is hydro granules. This foundation allows the roots to absorb oxygen from the air more easily, which promotes growth. Hydroculture reduces the chance of pests, offers a longer lifespan, and minimizes or eliminates the risk of soil acidification and suffocation.
Another important aspect of grouping three different varieties together is that their care needs to be more or less similar. Fortunately, both Epipremnum and Philodendron are not demanding houseplants. Consumers are unlikely to go wrong when it comes to their care. Even a drooping Tricolore is no cause for panic: a good splash of water will quickly revive the trio. Just be careful not to give too much water, as this can lead to brown leaf edges. A nice spot in the house would be a corner that is very bright, but without direct sunlight. A regular misting will also remove dust that settles on the leaves, helping the Tricolore regain its natural beauty.
